Deep States™ specializes in hydrogen energy systems and off-grid knowledge-storage. We prioritize ethics and human dignity over profit and personal-gain. Deep States™ creates fucntional, engineering prototypes, working to improve the human experience and build a kinder society. Our main fields of interest are hydrogen-transport and superchip clusters.
Off-Grid Knowledge
The greatest threat to our survival as a species are those centralized, dynastic control-systems which conceal and manufacture information. At Deep States™ we build off-grid knowledge storage for mathematical, philosophical, and historical texts. These superchip-powered libraries provide a localized replacement for the legacy, surveillance-internet.
Superchip Film-Emulation
Deep States™ is bringing back 35mm analog movie-film. Although rival companies claim to offer film-emulation software for digital post-production, nobody has actually managed to replicate the unique light-interactions that occur in real film-stock. Our approach is different, Deep States™ uses massive clusters of superchips to model celluloid.
Embedded Systems
At Deep States™ we program on open source platforms using the C programming language. We mainly use the C99 variant for critical hardware; and for fun. While young-pretenders come and go on the programming scene, the C programming language remains the world's most robust and road-tested. Deep States™ advocates for code that is durable.
Industrial Design
The art department at Deep States™ is also our engineering department. We reject the idea that the arts and sciences should be divided into separate camps. For this reason, our concept visualizations are always grounded in the stark reality of mechanical and structural engineering limitations. In other words, every concept we draw can actually be built.
Hydrogen Vans
Deep States™ leads the charge toward clean-burn hydrogen fuel. If humanity is to have an ethical future, then that future includes hydrogen-powered vans. Van life has exploded, with US participants numbering over four million and growing; driven by neo-nomad philosophies and the desire for minimalism, freedom, and adventure.
Deep States™ represents the third-wave of digital information retrieval. The first wave was embodied by discrete-storage, on magnetic or optical disc. The second-wave was a globally-interconnected computer network which evolved into the surveillance and narrative-control system we call the "internet".
The legacy surveillance-internet evolved into a tool for human exploitation rather than human knowledge-storage. While it remains useful for encrypted interpersonal communication, and logistics, the legacy-internet is no longer a source of information. It is a source of psychological manipulation.
Deep States™ is replacing the dead internet. The internet is no longer a source of knowledge, or a tool for learning and discovery. Our mission at Deep States™ is to build personalized, off-grid, local, superchip systems. These superchip libraries cannot be censored; manipulated; or monitored.
Deep States™ meditates at the crest of the third-wave. We create decentralized superchip systems that contain all the knowledge from the legacy-internet, and more, but remain local and off-grid; delivering ultimate security and customization. Our workstations are completely air-gapped; practically unhackable.
The signal to noise ratio of legacy-internet derrived data has reached a point where zero data from this source can be trusted. Most internet traffic is automated by machines that drive engagement on behalf of mega-corporations. The internet became ghosts arguing with ghosts about nothing.
Our superchip library invokes two phases. The first phase is the collation of existing data sources: Books, magazines, or journals that you trust. This data is then ingested by the superchip system. The second phase involves teaching the superchip system to interpret this library of information intelligently.
